Everything was great. Room was big enough, close to everything. Only thing was that the room I stood in had a sewer smell. Had to open the window at night to get the smell out. But other than that, no other concerns.

Great apartment, minutes away from the train station. A wonderful staff, Nadia was very communicative during our entire preparation. The staff was able to assist us with a last minute accommodation for our family. The room has AC. I highly recommend this guest house.

Pros: Good location—700 feet from the train station McDonald’s, and a grocery market 2 min walk, Shake Cafe—a 5-minute walk, great for acai bowls or avocado toast. A 10-minute walk to the Florence Cathedral Clean! Comfortable bed and pillows Water pressure and shower head are fantastic! Cons: No reception on site No smoke detector Have to check in at another location Loud! Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper. It is next to the road and extremely loud; the noise is constant!
TV remote stopped working intermittently Only decaf coffee option for in room coffee

Clean, spacious room near the train station and walking distance to the sights we wanted to visit. Check in is at their sister hotel across the street on the third floor (there is a small elevator but going into the building still requires some stairs to the building’s central lobby). A/C actually works decent but takes a couple seconds to kick in and requires your key card to be inserted at the front door. Reception will hold your bags after check out if you need.

Located 1 block from train station. Very clean and comfortable room that was updated recently. Staff was very helpful and communicated well. Watch the check in hours! They have limited times to check in and you check in at a different building. Super easy instructions and they walk you to your room. There is a small elevator which is great for luggage. In the heart of the city — but room was quiet. Has a/c and beds were great. Would definitely stay there again.

The check in process was a little confuse since you have to go to another building on the 3rd floor to do it, that was a nightmare but then we walked to our house and the elevator was very small to fit all the luggage and we did a few rides until we get to the floor, the rooms were spacious and clean , air conditioning was very strong witch I like it and quiet room .

Check in was our only issue. We found the building we we’re staying in, but check in is in a another building, so it’s confusing. It didn’t help matters that we had no cell service or wifi. We received an email regarding check in, but not until close to our check in time. Once we got checked in things went well. We didn’t require room service during our stay, so I can’t comment on it. We definitely will not travel out of the country in the future without cell service though.

We had a very good stay at Daphne Guest House! The location was excellent—close to major sights, restaurants, and public transport, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a charming, cozy feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend Daphne Guest House to anyone visiting Florence!

We had a great stay at Daphne Guest House. Nadia was exceptional; she had our room ready early, let us store our luggage after check-out and provided amazing customer service throughout. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the outside street noise was quite loud at night, and we were awake for several hours because of it. Aside from that, everything else was excellent; thank you, Nadia, for your warm hospitality!
