We had a great stay at Daphne Guest House. Nadia was exceptional; she had our room ready early, let us store our luggage after check-out and provided amazing customer service throughout. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the outside street noise was quite loud at night, and we were awake for several hours because of it. Aside from that, everything else was excellent; thank you, Nadia, for your warm hospitality!

We had a very good stay at Daphne Guest House! The location was excellent—close to major sights, restaurants, and public transport, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a charming, cozy feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend Daphne Guest House to anyone visiting Florence!

You check in for this property at a nearby sister location. They walked us over to show us the unit and how to access it. It was very high tech and modern. The bathroom was wonderful including the shower. There was some street noise through the window but no sound transfer from other units. The location was close to the train station and historic sites.

One night was enough

Good location, near train station and close to local sights however it was noisy because of the busy area. Room was ok but wouldn’t want to spend more than one night there. There was a clump of hair on shower wall, the kettle was missing a lid and the desk was literally a piece of countertop balanced on top of a fridge (not ideal considering the kettle of boiling water is stored there). The service from staff at Hotel Berna where we checked in was very good.

It was in a convenient area. The bed was very comfortable. However, the shower drained slowly so could only do a 5 min max shower. It was dirty…found an old pair of sandels under the bed. It was also hot, could not figure out the thermostat.

Nadia was great, helped with our after-hrs checkin

The coordinator, Nadia, was excellent. My family came in on the train at 9PM late in the evening. The front desk closed at 6pm, so we needed to get key card/code access to the room after hours for our first night. Nadia worked with me using email over the week before our arrival. She was patient and consisted with the needed documentation. She provided excellent check-in instructions. All went well at the late evening check-in which is great when a family has travelled all day and really needed an easy check-in process for our late arrival.
After hours check-in allowed for a quick, first evening visit to Florence El Duomo

I cannot fault anything. Enjoyed my stay. We were in the spacious family room with a double bed, separate lounge area, kitchenette and a nice spacious bathroom. Host was very lovely and explained everything well. Location is great as it’s about 5 minutes walk from Santa novella Firenze station and also in good walking distances to restaurants and shops. Duomo is about 20 minutes walk away, uffizi gallery 15 minutes by bus and lots of other tourist places in close distance by walking or bus. Several bus stops in close walking distance the main one we used was right next door less than 1 minute walk. We received complimentary water, tea and snacks on arrival in the room, which was nice but only downside was the lack of cutlery, we only had spoons for the teacups, but apart from that I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

Central, but not great

The apartment was centrally located, both in relation to the city's snow area and the train station. It only took 5 minutes to walk from the station. Check-in went well. Nice lady who gave a lot of information. The bathroom in the apartment was nice and clean, but had dim lighting. We were a family of four where the children are in their teens. There was a double bed in one room and a sofa bed in the kitchen/living room. When the sofa was converted into a bed, it was so cramped that the kitchen and kitchen table could not be used. This room appeared less pleasant. If you are a light sleeper and are woken by noises, do not choose this apartment. Garbage trucks or similar wake us up early every morning.As if this was not enough, several of us were stung by insects while we were sleeping. I cannot recommend this accommodation.
