Best time to go to Adelaide

Peak Season:

The months of February and March mark the peak season in Adelaide, and it’s this time of the year that’s beautifully warm and inviting, so many tourists gather to indulge in one of the numerous outdoor activities, such as strolling through the Adelaide Botanic Garden, taking in some art and music at the Fringe Festival, and playing at Henley Beach.

Shoulder Season:

Although there are still many stray tourists hanging around from September to November, the city is relatively quiet, and accommodation and flights to the area are inexpensive. As crowds are thinner, this is an excellent time to take part in some of the more popular activities, like seeing a game at Adelaide Oval, touring Haigh's Chocolate Factory, or wine tasting at Penfolds Magill Estate Winery.

Off Season:

Flights are at their most inexpensive from June through August. These months can be brisk, so you may want to take advantage of one of the many indoor activities, like touring Coopers Brewery, catching some live entertainment at the Grace Emily pub, or soaking up some history and culture at the Migration Museum.
