The house had everything we needed, including everything for the beach, and the hostess made sure that check-in and -out were smooth. She provided lists of local places to eat and things to do. This house and location definitely exceeded our expectations."

"Fantastic stay at the Mai Kai condo. It is located north of the "action" of Virginia Beach, but is a quick drive to the great activities, restaurants and shops the area has to offer. Easy beach access across Atlantic Ave then one block to a wide, beautiful, clean beach. This one level, ground floor condo has no stairs, so unpacking from the car or heading out with the family is a breeze. And having a pool onsite was delightful. A perfect spot for our girls "of a certain age" vacation, but I would come back with guest of all ages. Looking forward to returning. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!"

"Had a great week vacation in northern VA Beach. This duplex unit was a great little find for an almost last minute trip to the beach. The unit was very clean, the neighborhood was quiet, even with the small bit of traffic to the military base. Easy access to the beach which felt almost like a private beach for hours in the morning. No second thoughts to renting this place out again! Just for future tenants to be aware: the bathrooms, while adequate, are a bit tight. If you are a tall person, it makes it a bit uncomfortable. It by no means detracted from our experience, just something to be aware about."

"The location is excellent and private. Because Ft Story is next door there are no other home directly across the street just pretty woods. The boardwalk is truly only steps away and so pretty. We enjoyed the brick patio and ate most meals on the picnic table, coffee and cocktails in the chairs. Kitchen is well supplied as is the beach gear. We love an outdoor shower so were a bit disappointed that it wasn't enclosed for a full after beach experience. We did not need the space upstairs which is well appointed but the stairs are awkward and somewhat challenging at the top, Ideal for teens who wouldn't care but would be a challenge otherwise. We enjoyed our stay very much."
