"PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years! I would highly recommend a stay here! Very clean, comfortable beds and stocked thoughtfully. I hope my sister and I can come stay again someday."

"The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay!"

"The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! Even plenty of hot water for showers--for a big group!"

"We had a great trip, the cabin was cozy, clean and beautiful. The host very responsive and thorough. We took advantage of the local shops, hiking trails and ventured to Tahquamenon Falls along with Whitefish Bay. All in all, we were very pleased and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend."

"We enjoyed the picturesque view of Lake Superior and watching the barges float by. Scott and Eva greeted us upon arrival and gave us all the information needed. There is plenty of space to relax! If you are a rock hound, there are plenty of beautiful rocks all over the beach. The lighthouse is just a short walk from the cabin and worth checking out. There isn’t alot of grocery stores or restaurants, so make sure you pack food 😃"

Others have commented on deferred maintenance, and you may find window-coverings/windows/window locks that don't work well or at all, flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling, duct tape on the floor, or shaky railings outside.
