"I am giving 1 star because the employees of the hotel are kind. As soon as we entered the room there was a dead cockroach on top of the sink. The television did not work at all in the first room and the smell in the hall if you have any type of allergy, do not go. On the second day I went to complain and on our way down the elevator stopped. We talked to the receptionist and she moved us to a different room. The tv in the new room worked, but there was a cockroach running around the room (also...

Café da manhã excelente, se chegar ceeedo, eles não repõem com tanta frequência depois das 8:30, e pode ficar sem algumas coisas. Mas as coisas que têm são ótimas.

"My mom, sister, and I had an amazing eight-day stay at Hotel Grande de Barra. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. Every single staff member was helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made our experience even more special especially since we don’t speak the native language. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well-fed. They were so accommodating and warm that it truly touched us.
Our room was spacious and clean, and anything we needed was handled promptly and with care. The personalized service made it hard to say goodbye, not just to the city, but to the hotel itself. It felt like leaving family.
The hotel is not only beautiful and well-kept, but it’s also in the perfect location just steps away from two stunning beaches, close to great restaurants, and only a short drive to the main attractions in Bahia.
Without a doubt, anytime I return to this area, I will always stay at Hotel Grande de Barra. The people, the views, the location, it’s all unforgettable.

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "

"Family friendly, location, location, location. Warping speed Internet. Balcony not hot by sun. 20 m from the beach. Ideal place to stay. Host very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning"
"If you have lived in Brazil this place will be great. If you haven't you might want to stay away. This place has the best location right on the beach. Just beware that the street lights don't turn off at night and people are up late and then others are up really early and aren't quiet. The AC worked great once I figured out I had to turn on a little breaker first. We stayed on the top floor that they have seemed to turn the roof to into 3 rooms with make shift walls. We saw 2 cockroaches which for the location I kind of expected but that freaked my wife out. If you are fine with a hostel type room that is private then this place is for you. If you have a certain quality standard that you expect when you stay somewhere, don't stay here. Overall I enjoyed the location and didn't have a problem with the facility. "
