"Quaint hotel, old fashioned but beautifully decorated. The receptionist couldn't be heard as she was quietly spoken & was behind a screen. This hotel is far from any pubs or restaurants. The evening menu was quite expensive & 'fussy'. There were brown marks on our bathroom tiles which we wiped off quite easily but not great to see skid marks in the shower area! All in all a nice hotel but wouldn't go there again"

"Rooms clean and tastefully decorated, lovely coffee, tea and snacks. Also had hair dryer, draws and hanging space. Shower hot and powerful. Included breakfast was fab on both day and staff were firendly, attentive and able to give recommendations to those who needed them. As stated in property description, no parking at property, but be warned it is limited on street, there are restrictions and the streets are narrow. the closest car park was 8 mins walk away, £11.50 for 24 hours and up jacobs ladder steps, so just bare in mind when booking. A few small issues was there was visible damp/moisture on the back wall of our room, which by the second night made our bedding also damp and unpleasant. We did keep windows open, but it was cool outside so, this was not a permanent solution. I am sure the property will be able to resolve this. A full length mirror in the room too would also be beneficial as when getting ready for a wedding I was unable to get a full length view of my outfit or close enough to the bathroom mirror to do my hair. Wifi unable to reach room too."
