"No frills. Bar can be noisy but earplugs are supplied.Room 5 is above pub entrance so smokers on pavement can be noisy. Huge variety of fresh fruit and cereals"

"We had a lovely stay here. The house was so well catered for, had really comfy beds, a great garden with seating to enjoy the hot weather and was in walking distance of Amble so no need to worry about finding a parking space!We visited Druridge bay country park which had a great playground, lovely walks and beach and a very reasonably priced cafe. Amble was beautiful to walk around and Alnwick castle was good to explore. We went to Morpeth on the bus, X18, just around the corner and visited Carlisle park which has a great paddling pool for little ones on a hot day. Barbara was very helpful and great with communication. We would definitely look at returning in the future and recommending it too."

"It’s really spacious and great location as the harbor is a quick walk. The main street was also even closer which allowed us to stop into the Tesco express to get basic needs at any time of the day as it was open later in the evenings. We had great communication from the host. There is no washing machine so be sure to bring enough clothes."

"We really liked Amble. It feels authentic and it is not too touristy. The fact that it has several very good restaurants including The Boat House and The Fish Shack is a real selling point. The house is spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a lot of storage space and the kitchen diner is roomy and attractive. It is a well maintained house that is about 7 minutes walk away from the coast. We had a very pleasant stay here and we really enjoyed it. Thanks to the owners and housekeeper."

"The property was well equipped, comfortable and a lovely house. The beds were good we slept well, the location is quiet and not busy being a cu de sac, we found the landing needed a blind at the window for privacy between bedrooms and bathroom.The garden needs some TLC otherwise very good."

"Nice house in a great location. Not exactly toddler friendly but would be good for bigger kids. Cleanliness I would say was good at surface level (beds, bathrooms kitchen etc). Wearing white socks or having toddlers playing reveals the floor needs a much more thorough clean. "
