"Excellent base for visiting the castles and taking walks"

"An excellent hotel with a great location and delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the cable car and with beautiful centre of Garmisch just around the corner. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the family of three. The room was very well equipped, including free beverage in the fridge (Arolser beer was a particularly good one), Nespresso machine as well as slippers and bathrobes. Selection of food for breakfast and buffet dinner was excellent and delicious - bravo to Chef! The only ideas for improvement are to update the pool area and to reduce the waiting time at the dinner in days of set menu. I would be happy to come back again!"

"The pool was a really good size and the staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing location in the square and easy walk from train station. Room was too warm and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. Room was really big but dated. The half board food was OK, drink prices very reasonable. "

"The breakfast was wonderful, dinner too. Though finding a table could be hard. Hotel a little dated, but rooms are spacious. Ours was a bit far from reception but connected by underground tunnels. Parking cost 15 Euro a night. Drinks very expensive. Water was 7.50 euros. If you take the meal package you must pay additional £30 euro for the kitchen facility but worth it. Carpets need renewing. Pool was large and lovely with super mountain views. "
