"Great stay! I didn't see this in the listing, but It IS on a main road and road traffic can be a bit loud. The driveway is also a bit tricky to get in and out of, but overall the property is great!! The location is central to everything in SLO and we had a great time. GO to the farmers market if you are there on a Thursday night!"

"We traveled for business in construction and breakfast early is always a plus. Staff is great, we had packages delivered and were notified (except once when UPS delivered to the wrong office/cafe attached to the building) other than that it was a great stay"

"Our stay at Avenue Inn was very convenient. The location is perfect—just off the highway and right across the street from a supermarket. As EV travelers, we really appreciated the options: there is a fast charger (Level 3) right across the street, and the hotel also offers private charging stations in their parking lot for a $25 fee. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were both professional and efficient. We were very satisfied with the room; it felt larger than others in this price range. A huge plus was the window in the bathroom, which provided great natural light and ventilation. A fantastic choice for anyone road-tripping through SLO!"

"Didn’t feel clean, bed was not comfortable, and the shower leaked water all over the bathroom. SLO needs more cheap hotel options so I want this place to succeed, but they’ve gotta put some care into it"
