"Nilakshi in the front office and Sanjeewa in the restaurant are amazing. Also I should mention Udesh, Manager. Foods were fantastic. Thank you all and others making our stay at Echo unforgettable. We have stayed some upscale hotels in the Ella area, but Echo is the best. We highly recommend this place."

"We spent 3 nights there with my family of 5 in two rooms. We found the location difficult to find on the evening we arrived as it was dark and raining. When we arrived we were met by the owner and his staff who helped us with the bags to the room. Given the location we were met by lots of bugs near the room entrance as the hallway lights were on. The owner was helpful and quickly sprayed bug repellant. The room itself was basic but super clean. We were surprised there wasn’t any air...

"We had a wonderful time at the guest house. The business seemed family run and was warm and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic. They had on site scooter rental which was very convenient to help us get around. The views were just stunning. "

"Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)"
