"The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the room was clean and recently renovated. The continental breakfast had so many options and tasted great! There was a nice garden and a rooftop with a picnic table where we ate takeout and took in the mountain views. Definitely recommend staying here."

"Perfect house to suit our needs. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils / appliances. House was incredibly clean. Lovely little creekside bench and table for morning coffee, hot tub was a post - hiking luxury. Great location between Salida and Monarch. We had a great time!"

"I loved sleeping in this tipi. It was something I had always wanted to do. The bed was very comfortable. There was lighting, a small table, a fan. The host at Goat Mountain Lodge was excellent, and very friendly. The lodge has chickens and goats, and a couple dogs, and a llama. Lot's of hummingbirds are on the property feeding, along with ducks. If you love the great outdoors, hanging with animals, seeing the gorgeous stars at night - this lodge is the experience you need. The host works very hard and offers a breakfast the next morning at a great price for all she makes and serves for you. Awesome food. Great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again. Next time, I may stay in the lodge for a different experience."

"The property had more to offer than we expected. The cabins were perfect for what we needed. The River behind the cabins was a great place to relax after we hiked Mount Shavano. Charles was pleasant to talk to and offer help if we needed any. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely consider staying at the Cabins again."
