" Lovely, friendly staff and a good variety of food. Drinks were okay, but the all-inclusive cocktails weren’t great. Rooms are very dated and the hotel could really do with a refurbishment, plus a gym would be expected for a 4-star. Great bus service to the beach and Mogan."

"This was a great little place in a perfect location to enjoy the mountains and the sea. Tino's parents were so kind and welcoming and we really appreciated the generous and thoughtful gestures like wine, water and eggs on arrival. The accomodation was spotless and well equipped. We especially loved the spacious and comfortable terrace and the wonderful pool with beautiful mountain valley views - it was a blessing to swim every morning as the sun rose over the mountains . There's a bakery and cafe minutes away and a longer but easy walk into Mogan. Puerto and playa de Mogan is not far by car or bus. Recommend the hike from Veneguera to Cruz de Mogan and walk from Amadores to Puerto Rico, plus forays into the mountains to soak up the spectacular vistas, flora and fauna!"

"Reception staff failed me totally. They pretended to say problem with the rear exit door making a BANGING NOISE when closing. My room 9016 was next to said door/ gate. Constantly BANGING from early morning until late evening. I asked on FOUR occasions for someone to fix the door but nothing happened. Reception staff displayed a total lack of communication with me and failed in their duties to a guest. After my eleven day stay I had no apologies, no offer of a replacement room or any kind of compensation. Ruined my stay at this lovely hotel. Not impressed. "

"The complex containing the house was very private and nicely landscaped. It is located in a quiet hamlet a little way of out the main town of Puerto de Mogan. A major plus is the private parking within the complex (very secure with an electric gate), as there is almost no public parking available in this area. There is a dirt track with very little traffic, which we used to walk into town. The top part (Alto) of the house is worth paying a little extra for as you have a private outdoor space which is not overlooked. The pool area contains enough lounging beds and parasols for all of the guests and is a nice place to sit, surrounded by plants. The apartment is bright and airy, with large full-length doors at the front which overlook the valley down to the sea. We found the beds to be comfortable and there is air-con if needed in the main bedroom area. The shower is lovely with a rainfall showerhead. The pool is too cold to use comfortably, even on a warm day - it really needs to be heated in December. The surface around the pool is also very rough and hard to walk around without shoes. The kitchen could be better equipped. It would be helpful to have operating instructions for equipment. Due to its location on a steep hill, the parking is challenging for less confident drivers."
