Great 4* hotel
Let me start by saying that We had an amazing time at Maspalomas and at this hotel. It’s very central, walking distance to the beach and to town and is well maintained and the staff are excellent. We had a beach view room and the view from the balcony was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool area was clean and organized well. Having said that, the hotel is a 4 not a 5 star. It absolutely caters to German tourists (our greeting card was in German). While I loved the decor because it reminds me of a Kubrick film, it could also be viewed as dated 60’s decor. There’s no room service and the bathroom, while well designed, is smaller than the one in my NYC apartment. In summary, a great 4 star hotel but at 5 star prices. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat but just trying to be truthful.
