"Although it was just a one night stay for me I received a very warm welcome, shown to my room and all staff; reception, bar and restaurant were first class in their roles. Room was clean and tidy and bed very comfy. Good selection of food and cooked breakfast to order."

"I was one of a party of 6 who recently stayed at Old Bank House. It is conveniently situated right on the main street near the bottom end and, as such, was perfect for local amenities and walks. The house was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and well equipped. Prior to our visit, Sarah sent some really helpful information about the property and the area. Any of our questions were promptly and efficiently responded to. We were all delighted with the house and would be entirely happy to return. It was excellent value for money."

"The only downside was breakfast only one staff member to take order and cook as well which meant the self service area was not restocked so there was no juice or cutlery left so had to improvise. Area very small had to move table backwards and forwards to get legs under table from both sides. Long wait for breakfast and only one piece of toast would be better with 2. Plus side excellent coffee machine fresh coffee flavoured syrups and able to choose type of coffee. Bar well equipped friendly staff and very reasonable on price"

"The cottage was great, all you would need for a good relaxing holiday, we did have a problem with the boiler on arrival but that was quickly sorted out by the agency, in all the cottage was perfect for our needs, the only down side was the fact we had our car keyed outside the cottage, but I suppose that could happen anywhere!"

"Excellent location with parking permit supplied for nearby park. Attractive decor and scones from nearby cafe a nice touch. Whilst there is a folder with some useful information it wasn't clear how heating control worked thus a more detailed instruction would be good. Also couldn't see instruction booklets left for kitchen appliances which again are often useful for unfamiliar controls."
