"Plentiful, easy parking - just enter reg on check in. Great helpful polite staff, from reception to dinner to breakfast. Small room with smaller bathroom - but perfectly fine for 1 night. Room 12 west wing - the heating/radiator/pipes make a dreadful loud humming, goes off at 9pm thankfully but does come back on at 6am (despite staff saying 7am) - not ideal if you value a lie in! "

"The cabin was in a fantastic, secluded and natural position. Having no tv aloud you to really switch off and get back to nature. Bird lovers paradise. The cabin was small but perfectly formed and with the log burner, was nice and cosy while it was cold and raining outside! Being pet friendly, we were able to take the dog to enjoy it all too. The veranda being enclosed was a great feature. The wood fired hot tub is an excellent addition. We absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to leave, we will definitely be back! "

"Beautiful, private location and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a quiet and peaceful break. The owners have made sure the cottage has all necessary equipment.Our only issue was the night storage heaters which retained heat for three days even after we’d switched them off, making the rooms uncomfortably hot, although we kept windows and doors open."
