Top Edmonston-Alston House Hotel Reviews
The Francis Marion Hotel
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the complementary snacks periodically throughout the day. Our only concern was that the beds were it’s too small for two adults."
HarbourView Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The wine and cheese hour, was such a nice treat!"
Harborside at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
8/10 Good
"The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent the hotel was just outdated but otherwise we had a good stay"
The Vendue
8/10 Good
"Overall it was a nice stay. Great location!! My room was large with great windows. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. It would be nice to have a mini fridge in the rooms. Rooftop bar and elevator are starting to show their age. A possible freshening might be nice. Not having a main desk for check-in/check out/general questions may not be the best impression. I had to wait to check until the one person who was walking around with a laptop was finished checking in the guests before me. He also escorted them to the elevator and showed them around while I waited. No one offered to help with luggage to my room etc. Also, they encourage you to text for any questions or problems that arise but they’re very long to respond to text. I think a more traditional way to communicate with guests would be helpful (and more professional) in addition to a main desk with someone always there if there is a question or need. It felt short staffed."
The Palmetto Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed made. Then at night the spread was folded back and chocolates🍫 left on our pillows. Plus fresh towels again . All this if you wanted it to be done. If not, leave your Do Not Disturb sign on door knob. It was a yes for us! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was easily accessible to great restaurants and The Market by foot. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family."
Andrew Pinckney Inn

Hotel Bennett
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous hotel! Every member of the staff we came in contact with was professional, accommodating and an absolute delight! Food and drinks were superb. The Patisserie every morning is not to be missed."
French Quarter Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay. The amenities are great, from free bike rentals, delicious breakfast, wine and cheese and milk and cookies. We will definitely stay here again and a shout out to Bob, who managed the bar during the wine and cheese and late night snacks. He was great to chat with and was very helpful with his suggestions. Thank you for a beautiful stay!"
