"We had a wonderful stay at Market Pavilion overall and would absolutely stay here again. The location is unbeatable — perfectly situated in the heart of Charleston and right next to the market, with everything within easy walking distance. It was the perfect location for being in the center of all the action. The staff were, for the most part, incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating. Twice-daily housekeeping was also a really nice touch and kept our room feeling tidy and comfortable throughout our stay. The one negative experience was with a gentleman who practically chased us down when we walked back into the hotel on Saturday after going out for ice cream. He stopped us to ask if we were guests staying at the hotel. While we understand that hotels have security procedures, the way the interaction was handled felt uncomfortable and incredibly off-putting. It left us with the impression that perhaps we didn’t “look” like we belonged there, which was disappointing given how welcoming everyone else had been. Aside from that interaction, our experience was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the majority of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would definitely choose to stay at Market Pavilion again on a future trip to Charleston."

"The room and the view of the ocean and property were just wonderful! The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff and guess we're friendly and welcoming! We have stayed here several times! It has been our place of FIRST choice! Also transportation to and from downtown is awesome! There is plenty to do right there on the property. Also very good restaurants nearby"
