We have stayed here two years in a row now and it is a great location. There are cafes and restaurants close, and the Haymarket station around the corner for commuting. Has everything you need.

City center. Quiet. Clean. Warm shower. Good sleep. All facilities: towels, shampoo…
Would recomend it.
Clean, bright, roomy, comfortable, quiet. Kitchen could do with restocking (limited number of glass and the cafetière needed a new glass jug). One guest had a logging on problem but the other guests didn’t experience this.
Fantastic location, near to Haymarket station and tram and bus stops for easy access to the centre and suburbs.

Good not great, but fixable
We had a fairly comfortable two week stay at the flat, but the place would definitely benefit from better property management and some minor upgrades.
The pros:
> Good location: located on a quiet street just a few blocks from Haymarket Station, with numerous cafes, take-out places, grocery store and shops nearby
> The flat is spacious with good sized living room and bedroom, high ceilings, some nice period details, and a pretty view from the bedroom to a back garden filled with beautiful flowers
> Furnishings (including the bed) are comfortable, and kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots & pans
> Check in and key access all went as planned
Cons, many fixable with better management and some minor upgrades:
> The flat is looking rather shabby: mold near the bathroom ceiling and window sills, stained carpet, fraying throw pillows, a broken window shade
> Cleanliness was not great: most visible spaces were clean, but some cabinet interiors were grungy, found dried macaroni under the toaster, unfolded bedding in the wardrobe closet, etc.
> House manual doesn't have accurate instructions for some appliances (e.g., dish washer and clothing washer), which meant we had to call Altido (the management company) several times, wait for replies, and borrow our family's home clothes washer while we waited for accurate instructions.
> More lighting in the living room would really help those of us who still read!
Overall, an adequate flat, and better than that if the cons are fixed.
The property was pretty much as advertised. It was a lovely size although a little tired in decor but in an excellent location for access to both the city and airport being only 5 minutes walk from Haymarket rail and tram station. Plenty of food options nearby. It really could do with curtains or working shutters in the front room
Great location for exploring Edinburgh, easy walk to bus, train and tram! Plenty of space to spread out and chill after a day of adventuring! The apartment is charming, clean and reasonably comfortable, although the carpet and furnishings a bit worn. Neighborhood is busy, and noise from the street and other floors in the building was noticeable at times, although the soccer schedule in town was certainly a contributing factor for a bit of it, and added an air of excitement! During our stay there was a smoker somewhere in the building, uncertain if it was a guest or resident, so no idea if the odor is something that would always be evident…Host was extremely responsive and helpful! Overall, if you are out exploring most of the day, you can’t beat the location!

One of the reasons we chose this rental was because it had a washer and this would be the second leg of our trip. On day one I reached out to communicate that it wasn’t working. I messaged them through email and what’s app multiple times. The second night we tried to use the thermostat because it was cold and it wouldn’t even light up or display so we tried to use the blanket at the foot of the bed and saw that the blanket was covered in white stains that resembled bodily fluids. I emailed about this including pictures and was told someone would contact me, they never did. We had to take our laundry to a cleaners and cancel a tour in order to ensure we had clean clothes the following day. I emailed again asking what I would be reimbursed and never received an email back. This was the WORST customer service experience I’ve ever had with a rental.
Property disapointed.missing basic amenities in bathroom Power point & heating in bathroom no ventilation. Windows difficult to open. Steamed up room.No double glacing,.
Bedding was left stored on one of the sofas. Obviously for additional guests. We booked for two guests. Bedroom is grand but no bedside light. Bedding very clean .. great!. Main light in lounge did not work. West facing window in lounge has internal shutters so filtering light not possible. So the only option is dark in afternoon. Gaps between kitchen cupboards. Looks good on the net but gloss soon wares off
Oven had pool of fat. Crockery not clean.
Would not recommend a rather negative impression. I felt conned.
