"The room smelled permanently of dirty drains. The reception staff were excellent and eventually moved us to another room. If you are a coeliac don't even consider staying here. I rang the hotel to check they actually did gluten free food before I made the booking and was told they definitely did. When I went down for the evening meal and asked what gluten free was available I was told a salad because they don't have many coeliacs staying. Enough said. "

"The staff was so kind and greeted us right away assisting with our bags and offering us a beverage upon arrival. We were exhausted after the walk from the train station and they helped us get settled and take our bags so we could settle for a bit and then sight see till our room was ready.
