"Beautiful well maintained gardens and golf course along with cleanliness, the castle architecture and interior was very unique. Something’s of concern were, there should be vents or exhaust fans in the toilets. Also, they close for dinner very early and because of this the bar gets too crowded for food and drinks. I wasn’t able to get my drink because of the long line. The food was very delicious and the portions were filling. I will definitely recommend this place and would come back for stay again when visiting Scotland!!"

"We stayed a night at the Haymarket location. The location is very close to the tram station so the connection to airport and the main tourist attraction is great . Lots of restaurants in and around the hotel. The staff was helpful and helped store our luggage before and after our stay, which was super helpful! The rooms were clean and great choices of tea/coffee and also espresso! Would definitely recommend it for the price, location and amenities compared to the very expensive hotels near the castle."

"We were greeted with such warmth. And a Prosecco! Miraculously our room was ready very early. We arrived from an overnight flight, so this was perfect. The hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the Royal Mile. We agreed, based on our overall experience, that this was our best stay in all of Scotland."

"We did not care for the property at all. They would not store one piece of luggage for one day on the day before we checked in. The front desk personnel was very rude and unhelpful. Room was small and dark. You could not adjust the heat or cooling. You got what they had the whole hotel set at. Also had a motion detector light under the bed which we could not figure out how to turn off and every time you moved in the room, it went on. Very annoying. Could only open the window about 1 inch. Lobby was not comfortable."
