"Reception staff very friendly, as was the slightly older gent serving breakfast on bank holiday Monday. For an independent hotel it’s a good standard on the whole. We had room 3 which was very large but the floor is shot. I feel for the poor people in room 4 underneath as the floor creaks with every single step. Also the room was noisy from early as the main windows overlook Sainsburys car park and there was deliveries and reversing announcements/beeping so if you want peace that’s not the room for you. Bar area was nice, staff were pleasant, not particularly friendly but certainly not rude. Great location everything in easy walking distance. Very good breakfast. "

"The caravan had limited space but was comfortable for our short stay.Complimentary coffee/tea pack supplied along with small washing up pack and tea towel which we had not expected.The views of the coastline and surrounding countryside were superb."

"Yes, pet friendly. There were provisions for the dogs. Blankets, bowls, biscuits, towels and poo bags (even though we bring our own it was nice to see them provided).Hot tub was very warm. First day was cooler but the host advised it would be as they clean it and switch it back on. The rest of the stay it was very warm. Hot tub glasses were provided which was a clever touch.Property was very clean. Loads of lovely touches like home made scones, sanitary products, napkins on the dining table.Host and Hostess really lovely and welcoming people.We had a really lovely stay and will return."

"Due to having a back problem, the settee was uncomfortable. However when we reported this to Reception a Supervisor from House Keeping went out of her way to find extra settee cushions to help make it more comfortable which we really appreciated."

"The Lodge was clean and presented well. However lounge furniture especially chair needed cleaning on the arms. Staff very helpful when i lost earring down the bathroom sink. However one thing not done after being highlighted was road night lights not working. We extended our stay as well."
