Damp carpets, threadbare rugs, damp patches on celings and paint peeling from bedroom ceilings, marks and stains on the walls, blackened chewing gum stepped into bedroom rugs. This fell well below our expectations of a prestige property which cost over 3000 in shoulder season."

"We have just had a lovely stay at The Falcon. The hotel is spotless and beautifully kept. All the staff are amazing and most helpful. We had a bedroom on the front with a canal view. The only down side to this is that it was quite noisy. It is on the main road into the town and next to a pub. The food and gardens are great and we look forward to visiting again at some point."
