The property was walking distance from the station with an Aldi opposite. It was very safe for a sole female traveller. The room with ensuite was very clean. The room had a bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. It was quiet. The air-conditioning struggled with the outside heat and room became nicely cooled around 2am. The free wi fii unfortunately was dropping out. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. I will recommend the property.

Stay away from this place
Got stuck in room 8, which is basically the worst spot of the building, and another family of 3 got the same luck. Our room is a Wi-Fi dead zone, its totally a false advertising according to the Australian consumer’s law. No rubbish bin – had to use the communal one. The girl was like, "Sorry about that, supposed to be one in the bathroom but we don’t have a spare one for you right now." Also, the door handle's broken and the cleanliness is a joke – leftovers garbage from the last customer and no replacement cups etc. Paid way less in Tamworth the night before, got all the basics plus breakfast. There’s no customer service and terrible problem-solving skills. Says a lot about ownership and management of this place. They don’t care.

Was originally in a room next to a very noisy person talking very loudly on the phone all the time. Immediately asked for another room and the staff were kind enough to give us a room far away from the noisy person. Noisy person, room 1. Don't take room 2 folks. It's like a coffin. Small shared kitchen area with very small bar fridge. Shared showers and toilets stank.

Rooms were very basic. Just a bed, side table and tv. The window is also very high so you would need to jump up to see out which leaves you to just stare at the white solid brick walls. My laundry is bigger than the single room.

It's located away from the town center but across the road from Aldi. The hotel rooms have been renovated and the cleaning staff did a good job. The keys return box could do with labeling. I thought the beer could be colder but I was told that it would be froofy if it was warm. I guess I must be still learning what a cold beer is even after 50 years of drinking beers. The food selection was great and arrived in good time.

Very Basic
The single room is exactly as it says on the box - single bed with a side table. Felt a bit like a prison cell! Shared facilities weren't particularly clean.

The building has a smell, it feels very closed in, room was not clean, pillow was about 5cm thick, with yellow colored pillowcase that was meant to be white.
