Good location, but the rooms are completely different from the photos, the towels are very old, the guy in the lobby has a horrible attitude, there's no coffee maker or refrigerator, I disinfected the phone to make a call and the wipe came out brown because of how dirty it was, there's only one elevator, the only redeeming feature is the gentleman who helps you with your luggage.

Une très bonne surprise au centre du Caire. L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal, proche de nombreux points d’intérêt, tout en offrant une ambiance agréable. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la propreté de la chambre et des espaces communs. Les photos publiées correspondent bien à la réalité, ce qui donne confiance dès l’arrivée. L’équipe est chaleureuse, respectueuse et toujours prête à aider avec le sourire. Le séjour s’est déroulé dans de très bonnes conditions du début à la fin. Je garderai une excellente impression de cet hôtel et je le recommande volontiers.

In der Altstadt gelegenes Hotel. Zwar mit moderner Lobby aber ganz einfach eingerichteten Zimmern. Bad zu eng und mit beschränkter Ablage. Sehr starker Lärmpegel von der Straße her. Fahrstuhl ins Hotel nicht sicherheitstauglich. Frühstück besser woanders einnehmen. Sich nicht vom Personal der Reception drängen lassen positive Bewertungen bei Abreise zu geben.

No working lifts building feels old and unkempt staff helpful although I’m pretty sure the cleaning room people broke my luggage zip as I had it zipped when I went out and it wasn’t broken and when I returned to room found it broken which goes to show they were tempered with

Værelset var fint. Personalet var venlige. Hotellet ligger på 5 etage! Der var en gammel elevator, som ikke var så tryg at tage. Indgangen, som også var en opgang, var slidt, der lugtede og der var en masse renovering i gang. Men selve hotel etagen var fin og personalet venlige.

I stayed here for a few nights and was impressed by the cleanliness and organization. The staff were friendly, the room matched the photos, and the breakfast was fresh and varied. The hotel was peaceful at night, which made for a relaxing stay.

La struttura e’ al 5 piano di un palazzo fatiscente, con escrementi di gatti per scale, cicche di sigarette e immondizia. Solo la lobby corrisponde alle foto. Le camere non hanno lenzuola complete, non c’è neanche una sedia per appoggiare i vestiti, le finestre sono così sporche che non si vede fuori. Di fatto la descrizione non corrisponde alla realtà: e’ un ostello basico, dentro palazzo abitativo in completa decadenza e con problemi igienici. Basta essere chiari e non spacciarsi per una residenza boutique. Non mi e’ mai successa una cosa del genere.

Le pire hôtel que nous avons fréquenté. Nous sommes restés 3 nuits et nous avions 2 chambres. L'hôtel est situé au 5ème étage d'un immeuble très vétuste. L'ascenseur est en panne depuis des semaines voir des mois en lisant les commentaires. La remise en route promise pour le lendemain n'est jamais intervenue. La cage d'escalier sent l'urine. Le petit-déjeuner est médiocre et ne commence qu'à 8h. Le ménage n'est fait dans les chambres. L'isolation au niveau des fenêtres est mauvaise et le quartier est très bruyant. Il faut réclamer un drap si vous ne voulez pas dormir en contact direct avec la couverture. Si les photos sont belles, il y a plein de défauts en terme de finition. Au moment du check-out nous avons du attendre que les chambres soient vérifiées par un membre du personnel pour pouvoir partir mais personne ne nous a aidé à descendre les 5 étages avec nos valises.

Il soggiorno presso questo hotel al Cairo è stato nel complesso soddisfacente sotto alcuni aspetti. Il personale si è dimostrato gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto ad aiutare gli ospiti con cordialità e professionalità.Anche alcuni servizi offerti dalla struttura sono risultati adeguati e hanno contribuito a rendere il soggiorno piacevole.Tuttavia, ci sono aspetti molto importanti che non possiamo ignorare.Non è accettabile ospitare clienti in un hotel ancora in fase di costruzione o ristrutturazione.Durante il nostro soggiorno erano presenti operai nei corridoi che lavoravano al montaggio dei condizionatori fino a tarda serata,con rumori continui e una situazione poco compatibile con il riposo e il comfort che un ospite si aspetta da un hotel. Inoltre,la nostra camera iniziale era priva di aria condizionata funzionante, cosa davvero difficile da accettare considerando le alte temperature del Cairo.Dopo aver segnalato il problema alla reception, ci è stata cambiata la camera con una leggermente più grande, ma anche lì il comfort era molto limitato: per avere un po’ di aria eravamo costretti a tenere la finestra aperta, con il risultato di dover sopportare rumori continui provenienti dall’esterno e dai lavori in corso.Comprendiamo la volontà della struttura di migliorarsi, ma certi standard minimi dovrebbero essere garantiti prima di accogliere ospiti.Con i lavori completati e una migliore organizzazione,l’hotel potrebbe sicuramente offrire un’esperienza molto più piacevole

Muy mala expertos, solo me quedé dos días, el elevador no servía, se tenían que subir 5 pisos cada vez que sales. En mi habitación. No servía la cerradura, por lo que mi cuarto estuvo expuesto todo el tiempo, me dijeron que lo arreglarían y jamás lo hicieron, no hacían limpieza en habitacion, el hotel está como sin terminar aún. Una semana antes había reservado otro más barato a la vuelta y estaba mejor, reservé este porque pensé que sería más cómodo. Muy mal.

The hotel is on the 5th floor of what appears to be an abandoned building, with sketchy elevator service. Although staff was friendly and the hotel was clean there was very few amenities. Location is great but not if you're looking to relax, Egyptians love their car horns.

Ich kann, nicht irgendwas positives sagen über dieses Hotel, habe mir so eine Zimmer gegeben, ich war in Schock, Ich könnte nie ein Besuch empfangen, war verboten, ich habe so ein Gefühl gehabt, dass ich bin in Knast , Schallisolierung eine Katastrophe, ich könnte nicht gut schlafen wegen Lärm, so ein schlechtes Hotel , ich habe in meinem Leben noch nie gehabt, ich habe viel Fotos gemacht, diese Hotel in sehr schlechte Zustand, Personal war Diktatorisch, sehr unfreundlich ich bin sehr enttäuscht, Zimmer Reinigung , nur mit Geld, kein Geld, keine Reinigung, sehr Rutschiges Boden, Badezimmer witzig klein

Very bad experience at Hotel Viaje Downtown Caïro Upon arrival, we were given an “upgrade,” but the room was completely unfinished: no air conditioning, no wardrobe, and nothing like the photos. The next day we were moved to another room, which was acceptable for the price and location. The staff were friendly though. However, our stay was completely ruined by a serious safety issue. During our stay, several personal items (make-up) went missing from our room. At first, we thought it was a mistake, but it kept happening. This made us feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. We reported this to the manager, who promised an investigation and compensation before our departure. On the day of check-out, he was not there, and after that we never heard from him again. To this day, there has been no response and no resolution. This situation overshadowed and ruined our entire vacation. In addition, the photos of the hotel are misleading, the lift is extremely small, and the building feels unsafe due to poor stairways and abandoned areas. Most of the written reviews also do not match our experience at all — they seem like they were written for a completely different place. Conclusion: friendly staff and good location, but poor rooms, lack of safety, and no proper service. Absolutely not recommended.
