We had a wonderful 3 night stay in a comfortable room. We liked having a relaxing swim on the infinity pool at the end of each day after exploring the Douro. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and 4 course dinners that were cooked from the heart :)

Stunning property, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable. We were met by John who took excellent care of us but the other members of staff were just as helpful. The restaurant on site was not only convenient but served a tasty dinner and brekky. The weather was perfect and the pool highly enjoyable, overlooking tbe douro valley/river. I would recommend a bottle of wine while you're swimming. I would love to return here one day.

An unbelievable experience in all senses of the word. The beauty of the location, the quality of the property and the attention and gracious nature of the staff were incredible. A wonderful experience completely.

We were warmly welcomed by Cristiano with a glass of local port and given exceptional assistance and recommendations our entire stay. Breakfast was SENSENTIONAL, as was the view from our room and the very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Hope to visit in summer when we can take advantage of the pool! Thank you!

Calm and quiet environment. Our 2 bedroom cottage is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you needed. Very thoughtful in all arrangement. Lovely place to stay in. Sad that we only stayed for one night. Should stay at 2 or more nights to enjoy the tranquillity of the environment.

Staying at the Casa Doña Edite Guesthouse is an amazing experience. It is a 15 minute drive from Pinhão but truly worth it. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I think the pool view rooms may be best. Bathrooms are large with an excellent shower. A sitting common area is available for use if required. The entire building is near new and aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast was a nice selection and don’t miss out on the homemade jams and cakes. They are delicious. The family that owns...

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This property is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the food is absolutely delicious. Our stay was completely faultless and I wish I had booked for longer. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting which was world class in terms of information and passion of the host. If you’re scrolling looking for somewhere to stay, stop & book.
