"Stayed there for 2 nights. Booked approx 2 months before but when we arrived they had no details of our booking so we were forced to wait for nearly an hour til the staff were able to contact the manager. Noise from other guests was a problem both nights. Due to very noisy music in the hotel car park we were unable to sleep and we were forced to ring noise control. Noise stopped 20 mins later. Meals in the restaurant were good value, we ate there both nights."

"This sweet little motel was in a perfect place for our adventures. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. They even had Netflix so we could relax after driving and hiking."

"Bruce is a great host, warm, friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, furniture and linen are good quality. There is a sea view, and it is well located close to the Hokianga entrance, with good walks nearby. Also very close to the excellent local fish and chip/ takeaway."
