Accommodation near Dolores Canyon Overlook

Inn at the Canyons
2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1004)
"Located in a small town and any day but Sunday there appear to be several options for dinner. We were limited to the Subway next door if we didn’t want to drive several miles to another town. We should have thought ahead, but at least we had food to eat. The hotel itself is lovely and well priced considering what we would have paid had we gone on to Moab. "

Horsehead Mountain Lodge
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"Nine adults and 2 little kids for Thanksgiving out of town. This cabin provided a large kitchen, separated sleeping spaces, and lots of warm water. The cabin met all our needs which were a large room to gather in, a large meal prep area, and plenty of seating. We enjoyed being side together and took the short trip to Moab, Arches, and Canyonlands."

Dolores River Canyon Rim Home on 37 acres next to BLM in beautiful SW Colorado
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (28)
"Picture's do absolutely no justice to this house and its surroundings, The owners were gracious and checked on us several times. Outside temps hit 17 and the inside was nice and cozy. Only thing I would change was having more time to spend there. Will be going back. The view of the Dolores river out the back is nothing short of amazing."

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"A great place to escape to. Clean, comfortable and charming. The drive to the cabin has some steep sections but the road is well graded. We used the cabin as our base for exploring Needles District of the Canyon Lands National Park. Only disappointment was not staying longer than two nights."

Desert oasis with panoramic views near golf course and Canyonlands
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (20)
"This is the perfect location for a home base. We were an hour from Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Arches, Canyonlands-Needles District, and Natural Bridges. There was even more within a 90 minute drive. Our problem is we didn't book a longer vacation. The view of the Abajo Mountains from the living room was awesome. There was a hawk nesting in one of the pines in the back yard. Our first afternoon at the house a group of 9 mule deer came into the yard, and after they left a second group of 11 wandered...
