"Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Indoors was cozy with plenty of warming options on chilly nights and rainy days. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Multiple dining areas including a very nice sun porch. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience."

"Chris's property is clean , comfortable and well lit. I felt completely safe going in and out of the property. It was an upscale rv to me, as I have often stayed in hotels. This property was very close to where I was digging for Herkimer crystals, so it was perfect. I enjoyed the Keurig coffee as well! Thanks for being a great host Chris!"

The area was quiet, very much in the country, but close enough to get to a town and the Glimmerglass park for the wedding. Everything was only a few minutes away. We all had a wonderful time."

"We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. I can imagine the stairs to the loft might be an issue for some people but we didn’t have any problems with it. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms directly Above the beds had a thick layer of dust on them.
