"I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. "Fantastic hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. The big attraction is the spa and pool which is a good size and no need or book a time to use. We stayed in a delux room which was very clean and comfortable. Shower could have been replaced with a more modern rainfall as not intuitive to use. The restaurant has a limited menu and the service was a little slow but the quality of the food was very good and the breakfast was excellent . There are many local pubs to choose from as an alternative for dinner. The hotel is used for weddings and special occasions so can be a little noisy at night. Occasions. The outside pool is small but appropriate for the location. Note not all rooms have a/c so recommend check before you book if important. This is a lovely country hotel with a great indoor pool, would recommend for a short stay. We have rated 5 stars."
