"The rental is exactly as described, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful setting. Basically in a Marina surrounded by boats. The rental process was seamless from booking through checkout.Renters should know this apartment is above a very good restaurant so you will have some sound from the kitchen and restaurant patrons. Cooking aromas come and go as well. The restaurant is Hook @ Harvey and is exceptional!There is a Kuerig coffee machine but No K Cups so take your own. The unit has step stairs to enter so if you have trouble with stairs beware. The outside trash can placement near the entry is problematic for flies entering the apartment while you are entering.These are NOT complaints but notes for the owners and renters. We loved the place and would return if in the area!"

"The historical significance of this property is reason alone to visit. George Washington's great grandfather established a plantation there in 1642. While original buildings were burned, the owners have restored according to drawings and records. There's a cemetery on property with graves from 1600s. Attention to service was outstanding and personal."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little studio! We appreciated the cleanliness of the property, easy check-in process, and great communication with the manager Jackie. Although the weather wasn’t too great, it was fun to sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean breeze as we watched the storm roll in over the marina. The location was great for a quiet and relaxing weekend, away from the noise of the downtown area but still close enough to walk to everything. The Hook @ Harvey restaurant next door was really convenient, a little pricey but the staff is friendly and their cheesecake alone is worth going back. Only downside was that the entire town shuts down at 9pm, even on the weekend, so I wished we would have planned ahead in terms of late night snacks and entertainment… Thank you Jackie!"
