"Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was just ok (very basic, though the waffle stations were good) and the amenities were also ok. I just wish there weren't as many maintenance things with our sink and the coffee and juice dispensers in the dining area. There are decent restaurants and shops nearby. I'd rebook here if going back to Newport News."

"The room was updated and extremely clean- even areas hotels often miss. I was very happy with this! The breakfast was minimal and a lot of things were out. Many families seem to stay at this location for the water park which brings a lot of kids in the morning for the breakfast- I think they could do a better job with keeping it stocked."

"Rooms were very clean, hotel was very full so breakfast was really full and not a lot of places to sit we stayed at a Holiday in Wilmington NC and they had cookies in the afternoon which was nice didn't see any in Williamsburg otherwise a nice stay"

"I think the Hotel may have new owners and are in the process of updating/renovating. The carpet on the third-floor hallway showed some wear, but smelled clean! I’m not spending a lot of time in the hallways anyway, so it is the condition of the room that matters most to me, and it was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable!! The complementary breakfast was good. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The elevator was a bit slow sometimes, so we used the stairs. No problem! Excellent location! Nice shade in the parking lot. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and felt we received excellent value for the price we paid. We stayed during the week when the rate was lower. We would definitely stay again!!"

"Loved the location. Bearing able to walk to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast wasn’t much and the staff in there wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. The hotel overall just needs some updates and upkeep. Starting to look run down, but so was the visitor center."
