"Great location and lovely hotel. I did see there was a pillow menu but it would be nice to have good pillows on the bed without having to ask for them. The ones we had were foam and quite hard. We had dinner in the Wine Press restaurant which was very good but only realised there was an alternative menu when a member of our party asked about the different meal they'd seen another table receiving. We had been given the set menu with no option for any other. Guests should be offered both menus to chose from Other than that the hotel was lovely, the staff helpful and we enjoyed our stay"

"I rang to ask if I could collect my key a couple of hours before check in, which the very friendly Helen assured me I could. When I arrived not only was I able to actually check in at the earlier time, I’d also been upgraded to a lovely quiet double room . Staff couldn’t have been nicer. I was also told I could leave my car in the parking for the day. I only wish they had had room for another night, but they were full. Would definitely stay here again"

"The room was clean though a little tight for space. The ensuite was also a little tight to move around in and the shower tray had a hair line crack through it though that did not affect the using of it. Plus side staff very friendly, room was clean and the evening meal was very nice."
