"Great place for visits to Norwich - great breakfast"

"My two daughters and I were informed by reception the night before that breakfast would start at a certain time. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were told by the lady behind the bar that because it was a bank holiday, breakfast would open an hour later. While we understood the change, the staff member was very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. When we said we would report the matter, she replied, “I don’t care.” I later reported this to reception, where both staff members were very apologetic and understanding."

"The hotel is located in the centre of Norwich next to the cathedral, everything is in walking distance. Our suite was located on the top floor via a small spiral staircase, ok for us but anyone with mobility issues would find it difficult. Bed and bathroom were comfortable with everything that we needed. The breakfast was varied with a lot to choose from but things were running out towards the end of service one day. The bar area was nice and service was great. Overall no complaints. "

"It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter."

"The room was very clean, the toiletries nice, the bedding and towels good quality and clean. The bar staff were very friendly and polite. However, I was not given the room I had booked. I was told it had been booked, but don't think there was anyone else staying there that night. The TV is on a low bench, so you can't really see it from the bed, the fridge is on the floor (fine if you're ok on your hands and knees) and the plug in the shower was partially blocked (so you got a foot bath). The room I was given also had the kitchen extractor right outside the window. It quietened down after about 10pm... (but was still sufficiently noisy for me to need the window closed). For information, breakfast is included and very nice, but.... only served from 9am onwards, so not ideal if you are working locally and need to crack on...."

"I cannot thank Deep enough ( Hotel Manager I believe ) . He went out of his way & made the time to assist needs & to make sure that my stay was perfect & it was . Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages . Would recommend this establishment & team to everyone I know . "Room was clean and fine for a night’s stay. Bed was ok, shower good. Parking limited and we parked on the street which was fine after 6pm and on a Sunday. Was noisey in the evening and WiFi was very temperamental. Overall I’d say 7/10 but I could only give 4/5 stars as 3 would be a little harsh given the price we paid."

"A lovely property. Just what we needed although a little pricey. Fantastic for the dogs. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to explore many of the walks in the area. One or two little niggles like a light not working in the main bathroom, the shower handle broken so difficult to control water temperature, the basin plug didn’t work but overall the property was great."
