"I arrived in Keflavik very early in the morning off a 7.5hr red eye flight. I was hoping to drop my bags at the hotel and wander around the city prior to check in. When I arrived at the hotel, I read a sign on the door stating the front counter wasn't open until much later in the morning. I was devastated having nowhere else to take my bags, when the hotel manager came to the door. He asked if I was staying at the hotel and advised me check in wasn't until later. "Wonderful place to stay near the airport. Luxury bedding and mattresses. Upscale toiletries and a large modern bathroom with heated floors and an amazing rainfall shower. Amenities included breakfast items and small fridge had drinks. Coffee maker made a quality cup of espresso. Self check-in was super easy. "We were in room 1 - it was very large. Two sofas three bedrooms three bathrooms and a large kitchen. The warm air hit us as we walked in the door - very nice. No awful sprays or other bad odors. It was just what we needed including a washing machine to clean the baby clothes. I recommend staying here. It is a very practical and comfortable place. Papa’s pizzas and fish and chips is near and has good food. Other sights are close by and not busy."
