"This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are in Chalon. The front desk is very helpful. It is a quick walk to parks and other tourist areas. Walking through town is a delight. Breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. One of our best memories will be the breakfasts both because of the view of the plaza but especially the food. We had four rooms, all arriving at different times and they placed us together without having to be asked. The staff do everything they can to make you feel special. My husband also states that they have the best croissants in all of France! "

"Front desk English skills were a bit limited, but the entire staff was exceptionally friendly, even in the midst of hosting a large Spain cultural event. Rooms in excellent shape. "We parked our motorbike outside our room on the ground floor. Nice spacious room, but we had to run the bath tap for 10 mins to clear out the black grunge. Bathroom was good size also. We dined there and breakfasted. The bill was all mixed up, I think we overpaid slightly."

"I’ve given 5 stars because of the way the receptionist welcomed us and because of her help when I thought I’d lost my room key. It turned out that I didn’t lose it, I’d just misplaced it but she was just brilliant and I would like my comments and thanks passed on to her."
