"It’s a standard roadside motel. Somethings have been refreshed recently, one or two others still need doing. That said it’s very good, staff helpful and courteous, lovely and clean, linen fresh, comfy beds. Slightly better cable package with a few more movies available. I particularly liked the alarm clock, had 3 easy to reach USB charging ports and 2 120v AC outlets, the lamp had one too. It’s now pretty common in the UK to find AC outlets with built in USB ports, this is the first I’ve seen in a Canadian hotel/motel. There was also a small convenience store in the motel office. "

"Outstanding in every way - including some surprises! (1) Convenient location to downtown area of restaurants & shops good parking on hotel grounds. (2) Young man greeting us at reception @ 3 pm 6/21/2025 was very friendly, explained facilities well (3) 2nd floor room was very quiet: king bed was really comfy, bedding, size of room, big TV, nice WC, in room pod coffee maker, microwave & mini frig handy! (4) Went for Happy Hour at the steakhouse. Reg menu a bit pricey but HH was excellent. We got two $17 HH filet mignon cheeseburgers (wow!) came with skinny fries (bit salty) and we got a couple $6 HH beers. Reception gave us a $15 credit for an appie as a promo for their HH Adam (charming Scotsman) in the resto recommended the standard menu $19 (-$15 credit) wedge salad: blue cheese dressing & bacon - enough to share and the best wedge I've had. Our waitress was also lovely (missed her name). Really nice restaurant, outstanding food & great staff. (5) BONUS: they have a large W/D in their gym: free for hotel guests to use! All in all a great choice for Trail!"

"It’s close to the park where you can enjoy the lake. What I liked most is the staff. They addressed my concerns promptly pertaining to their water heater. I would stay with them whenever I’m back in the area."
