"We stayed in the apartments which were simply perfect. Ample parking; excellent location which means you can walk to everywhere in Kirkwall and drive anywhere on main island. The apartments had a huge amount of space and a nearby Lidl and Tesco meant that it was easy to self cater with the facilities provided. A lovely bath and comfortable bed."

"Nice room on top floor; unfortunately no lift. Good facilities except no bath. Breakfast was included and this was hearty and served with a smile. Food was high quality. There was nowhere to dine in the evening and eating out options in Stromness are limited so we’d recommend booking meals before you start your stay. There was nowhere to park at the hotel but we found a free long stay car park above the hotel - though the path was treacherous in wet weather. This must be a great place to...
