"2 nights stay and although we booked b&b we were able to book dinner on the evening we arrived. The hosts were charming and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and accessible, even on the first floor via a very narrow staircase. As 80 year olds we were cautious on the stairs but no problems. The breakfast was fine and sufficient. The location was perfect for us. We were able to visit the chateaux of the Listrac and also Pauillac very easily."

"We stayed in Le Porge, with our lively springer spaniel, and this gite was a great choice for us. The property was clean and comfortable, and the designated parking space was a bonus. The owners were very friendly and the free range eggs from their chickens were delicious! The beach at Le Porge Ocean was fabulous and we recommend a visit to Arcachon and also taking the ferry from Lamarque to see the Citadelle de Blaye. "

"The property exceeded expectations. The owners were very welcoming and organised an interpreter to ensure any questions we may have had were answered. Although they live onsite they are extremely discrete and you'd barely know anyone else lived on the property. The pool was fabulous, warm and a big hit with all. The house is well located with lots of activities within easy reach. "
