"This was our second visit to Castello Vicchiomaggio but the first overnight there. It's a beautiful historic property that is maintained impeccably. Our room was perfect in every way. We stayed in a junior suite. It was extremely spacious with a separate living room. The decor was very tasteful and the linens were luxurious. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. The bath products supplied smelled lovely. The food at the main castle, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, was excellent....

"Beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a wine growing area of Sicily. The restaurant and wine tasting were fun and high quality. Our only complaint was that the hotel was very hard to find, even with GPS. Also the wifi did not work."

Farm to table meals were excellent with many local options to choose from. Manager, Bertina, is a gift, making sure all guests were happy and carrying out her duties with care and great energy and coordination. Bravo! "

"The property reminded me of the movies I’ve seen about Tuscany. The property is a working farm producing olive oil and incredible wine. The breakfast was delicious and dinners sensational. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ve traveled a lot and this was the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. The host went out of his way to help us when we had car issues, I can’t say enough about how fabulous our stay was!"

"One of the best hotels to stay at. The views were breathtaking, the dinner at the restaurant was unforgettable and super amazing. The entire experience is just a dream. I asked the hotel if they can order a flower bouquet from the local florist for my wife, and they were so kind to order it for me and place it at our dinner table. Will be back soon hopefully."
