This place is a little gem. Super helpful owners Cynthia and Roshan and excellent breakfast, in fact the best breakfast I had in Sri Lanka. Cynthia and Roshan were so nice and went out of the way to help guests. The following morning, Roshan even drove me to the Colombo bus stop some 2 kms away. The place is within walking distance from the Ella train station. What's more, if you can play a little bit of piano, you can play the piano at the place. There you have it! I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast is simple and tasty and sets you up well for the day. It’s served on your own balcony which for us had a lovely view of Ella Rock. The guest house is located very close to the Main Street which his filled with restaurants and shops. The walk there and back is very steep, but you are in Ella!! The lovely man who runs this place is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. If you want a local feel this is the place for you.
