"Simply stunning. This is a fantastic place to stay. Set in a peaceful area with its own garden area complete with furniture and a small summer house. The room simply has everything you could wish for and every item provided is good or even high quality. The hosts are very helpful in every respect and really want you to enjoy every aspect of the room and the gardens and also have a great knowledge of the local area."

"Loved staying at Matuka - breakfast was wonderful, the ground were beautiful, location was convenient, and the room was so clean and comfortable. The weather was quite rainy while we stayed there and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax and still enjoy a nice view. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Twizel!! "

"Without doubt this is the most luxurious experience I've ever had. My husband and I had two wonderful nights at Rippinvale Retreat in Hanmer Springs. From our arrival when there was home made baking, to wine and canapés at 6pm to chocolates on our pillow at night, our hosts Helen and John, couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The totally delicious home made breakfast (served after 9am!) kept us going until dinner time. I thoroughly recommend Rippinvale Retreat to couples that want some...
