"Sandyport Resort is a cozy stay. Nestled in a cute little village surrounded by local eateries and shops. I enjoyed the secluded but vibrant area. The property is a little antiquated but it’s nice. Staff and locals were the hilight of my stay."

"The host was very professional, punctual and pleasant. He picked me up from the airport 10 minutes after my call. The room was very clean, cool and comfortable. I especially liked that there were cushioned chairs situated throughout the room and the kitchen was outfitted with snacks, canned spaghetti, drinks, tea and wine. Everything was lovely"

"Nice small property that has more of a local feel. It was nice not having to wait in long lines for check in and check out. They have a pool, dining area and are close to both the ocean and airport. This is a local jewel that gets the job done without breaking the bank."

"Excellent property located near the airport. Up on a hill overlooking the ocean. Be advised that the entrance to the lobby is not ADA compliant. Meaning no ramp to the lobby. Just 20 steps. Architecture was beautiful and grounds were well kept. Easy walk down the private road to the nearby restaurant (which was quite good). It is about 20 minutes from downtown and not walkable. But hotel will shuttle you there if you wish to leave some dollars on island for t shirts. I’d definitely stay there again."

"This was the most perfect spot right in a safe and secured part of the island. The beach is not too far away either. Less than 10minute drive to the airport. The host checked in from time to time. I would definitely visit again."

"What a great vacation in Nassau! Beautiful views, the backyard area is so great we spent most of our time out there. There were lots of loungers and seating. The pool is larger than it looks in the photos. Snorkeling at the house is good, we saw a barracuda several times. Be careful getting into the water the rocks are slick and sharp, it’s a short walk to the lagoon to get in. When I was researching where to rent snorkel gear I had trouble finding places that rent near us, so we just brought our own. The views from the top of the house are amazing! Some things to be aware of:There was no hot water from the kitchen sink, it gets room temperature. There is a medium and small frying pan and food sticks pretty bad making it hard to clean. One of the kitchen drawers was broken. There is salt and pepper, no oil. There was one roll of paper towels, and I think around three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom which we really appreciated. Lots of bath and beach towels in the master bedroom closet. Both mattresses in the master bedroom sag in the middle pretty bad, forgot to ask everyone else about their rooms. There are things that needed a more thorough cleaning like the trim, light switches, washer/dryer closet. The outside shade cover thing was not strung up, it would’ve been nice to have it.Overall the issues did not affect our experience, but I felt for the cost of the rental we shouldn’t have had those issues."

"Breakfast was AMAZING! I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fruit. Staff was SUPER NICE! Room & bed were comfortable! Refrigerator and microwave worked well as did the A/C. It smelled musty in the bathroom and the bathroom window didn’t shut fully are the only negatives."
