Great location in historic Sherman Hill! Directly west of Methodist hospital and up the hill from Hoyt Sherman Place and the Sculpture park.

The health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

House Rules:

★No Parties or Events ‣ Neighborhood-enforced quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM.

★No Smoking or Drugs ‣ Smoking on the property, of any kind will result in a $150.00 fine.

★Pet Rules ‣ No cats ‣ Dogs under 75 lbs ‣ Dogs must be house-trained ‣ Maximum of 1 dog.

★Pet Fees ‣ $20/per dog, per night ‣ $100/ per dog, for 2 weeks ‣ $200/per dog, per month. The fee will be requested once the reservation is confirmed via the Airbnb resolution center.

★ No mail delivery ‣ Mail or package delivery to the unit is not available. ‣ We cannot be held liable for personal mail. ‣ We recommend getting a personal mailbox at the nearest UPS or Postal Annex for mail delivery.

★No unstated guests ‣ Any additional guests not stated in the reservation will incur an extra fee of $20/per night, per extra guest. ‣Visitors must vacate the property by 12 AM each night. The request will be sent through the Airbnb resolution center.

★Check-in and Check-out ‣ Standard Check-in time is 3:00 pm or later ‣ Standard Check-out time is 10:00 am or earlier.

★Late Check-out Available with 48 hr notice, subject to availability, fees below ‣ 11:00 am checkout for a $25 fee or 12:00 pm checkout for a $50 fee.

★Early Check-in Available, ‣48 Hrs notice ‣subject to availability, fees below ‣ 2:00 pm check-in for a $25 fee or 1:00 pm check-in for a $50 fee. Early check-ins do need to be confirmed and paid for at least two days before your check-in date.

Great location and affordable

We wanted a quick getaway to see a show at Hoyt Sherman and visit our favorite brewery, Lua for dinner and drinks and this couldn’t have been a more perfect location at an affordable rate! So many great places nearby and nice to be able to walk and not worry about parking for the show. Highly recommend for a small group wanting to take in Sherman Hill area.

Perfect little place

Steve was an attentive host communicating both by email and text which I really appreciated. We knew we’d be cooking a good amount and loved the gas stove!! Pretty and quiet neighborhood was a plus. Would stay there again if in Des Moines.

The apartment was very nice and located in an area within walking distance to restaurants. Host was ALWAYS very responsive to our questions. Lots of "to do" info included in the apartment. Parking was always available as well. Nice place to stay.

Beautiful Neighborhood, Very Walkable, great Location

Good, basic accommodations in a historic neighborhood and walking distance to restaurants, bars, microbreweries, and the amazing Hoyt Sherman Mansion/music venue. Very clean apartment. The host was exceptional in communicating with me.

This is the 2nd time staying at this property. Nice 2br apt that's only a 3min walk to Hoyt Sherman Place located in the Sherman Hill district of Des Moines. There was a problem with one of the beds but they resolved it and moved us to another apts. We will defiantly stay again.

Charming neighborhood

We had a good stay while here. The neighborhood is very charming to walk around. The hosts are great and responsive! Very close and walkable to many attractions, restaurants, grocery, etc. The only reason not 5 stars is because we did have some noisy neighbors in the alleyway at 3am, but that's not really in the host's control!

Great Downtown Location

The apartment was very clean. Just the perfect size for my husband and me. It was a short drive or walk to downtown. The neighborhood was nice and quiet.
