"Lots of good things to say about this place. The history of it being a stable - charming. The smell of lavender planted near the entrance - charming. The sound of sheep bleating if you crack one of the many the windows - charming. Church and old cemetery next door - charming. Young deer visits daily just outside the dining/living area - charming. I docked one star on cleanliness because I found a pacifier under one of the beds and I know they allow dogs but the kitchen smelled like dog -less...

"Barn was lovely. Very clean had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. Hosts were lovely and provided amazing welcome back for us. Location was lovely and peaceful. Lots DVD books games and blankets in the barn. Had lovely fire although weather was mild so we didnt need to use. Would highly recommend"

Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
