"Very old property but nice character, however, needs serious renovation. We ate there and the meals were nice. Staff were friendly and amazingly patient and helpful. Check in was a little frustrating as you are trying to fill in the registration form and at the same time being given information, which you struggle to take in, would make more sense to give you a piece of paper with all the hotel information to read at your leisure. "

"Hotel is easy to get to with free parking, we had a quick and very friendly check in including a welcome pack for the dog including a ball and some treats. All the staff were super friendly during the stay and really helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we might need (hairdryer/kettle/tv etc). We enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet each day. The hotel is over the road from Apsley train station so great access to London or MK if needed. Decent range of food from the hotel menu with a local pub and several restaurants next to the nearby canal if you dont fancy going into town. We had a great stay and will use again next time."

"The rooms overall were very clean except for the carpet which was nasty looking. The hallways outside of the room were not very appealing nor was the building itself. Mostly the staff made up for this."

"The location was perfect, the staff accomodating and personable and very helpful. The room was clean, (though the hoover had missed some areas under the table and chair.. only noticable to us because our small kids tend to crawl under everything) the breakfast buffet had both cold and hot options. We appreciated the variety of pastries, yogurt, cereal and fruits innaddition to the full English available. Tasty too. "
