"Not quite what we expected"
The hotel is old but renovated and quite up to a high standard. The front office staff and door staff were very polite and welcoming. However we didn't get the room we booked which was a Queen with a city view. We just looked into an internal courtyard. Otherwise the room was fine and the renovated bathroom was lovely. The staff in the Yellow Brick Road restuarant were indifferent. The service was slow, table not cleared, tea/ coffee / water were not offered and had to be requested every time. We got the feeling that service was beneath them. I think women staff would have been more attentive. It was all male. The Khan Market was close by and we found a nice restuarant The soda water bottle opener wallah which was quirky but fun and the beer and wine from the Wine store was massively cheaper than the hotel.

"Nice Hotel Away from City "
Breakfast was good, large variety & well laid out too. On both days of stay the experience of 'having breakfast' was not good. On Sunday, it was terrible. No place, no service. It was unmanageable for the tiny staff there. The service needs huge improvement. This applies for the room service too. This was no where close to my previous experience at Chennai Taj Vivanta.

"So much potential"
The hotel was a bit far from the main areas which is a good and bad. Good: The hotel was quiet and peaceful Bad: Traveling by taxi and a bit tiring. Tip: don't tire the hotel taxi, they charge about 4 times the usual price. Again, this hotel had so potential, but service level is holding it back. Again, not up to international standards. Staff all spoke English fine. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Airport pick up was easy to arrange and prompt, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. My only quibble is they asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room - I chose nonsmoking. The room obviously hadnt been smoked in which was great but the linen smelled of cigarette smoke and although it was clean im sure it had been used in a smoking room previously. My suggestion would be to keep separate linen and towels for smoking and nonsmoking rooms. But otherwise I had a very enjoyable, comfortable, relaxed stay and I would definitely stay again if ever the opportunity arose. Many thanks.

"Hotel Solace Review"
The room was nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated (but still quite functional). There didn't seem to be hot hot water (just barely warm#, and we weren't sure if we turned the switch to the water heater on correctly but didn't bother checking this out because it was nice to take a cool shower during this hot #May# time of the year. The bed contained a very thin mattress which was too firm for our liking. After the first few nights there, our backs started to ache. This was the main drawback for us. The staff was very nice, and they brought us two one-litre bottles of water each day along with clean towels #which could have used some "Bounce" or "Downy" to soften their texture), so that was a nice touch. Being an American, I had trouble with the fast Indian/British accent. The Wi-Fi in the room worked well. Despite all of the car noise (people honk their horns as much as they brake), the room was very quiet. It could be due to being in the middle of the building where there was no window view. The location was perfect for us since it was within walking distance of the metro and other places we needed to be near. I would stay here again if they changed the bed to something much less firm.

"Needed an apartment in Delhi for 5 days."
I was meeting my son and his girlfriend who had been packpacking around India for 2 months. We planned to meet in New Delhi and I rented a 2 bedroom apartment at Fraser Suites as I needed a kitchen with a washer/drier and living room and dining facilities. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean exactly as the pictures depicted. The second day we were there, my son who had picked up a parasite, got very sick. Since this was a long weekend, there was no doctor on call. The Hotel provided us with a car, driver and the front desk clerk Depali to escort us to the Emergency Room at the Max Hospital. Depali stayed with us from 9pm to 1am and did all the translating for us at the Hospital. If it hadn't been for all the help we received from Depali and the staff at Fraser Suites, I dread to think of what could have happened to my son. We spent the 4 days in the apartment while my son recuperated. We ordered room service and enjoyed the breakfast buffet everyday! I would definately stay and recommend Fraser Suites.
