"In need of renovation, but of course...location location location. "

"The grounds were beautiful and staying in the national park is always a plus. The views from the hotel are amazingly and you can easily walk to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. My kids loved the pool and the ice cream shop. There are also shuffle board, corn hole, tennis and basket ball courts on the grounds that are all updated. That said there was a lot of construction on site having to do with sewer lines, especailly around our room that we were not told about ahead of time. Over all the hotel room was dated with old carpet. It looks like the whole place is getting a face lift and will be updated in the near future. The wifi was out for part of our stay for a known down time based on the provider. The hotel did let us know about it ahead of time. Over all I loved the location, but was disappointed in how dated our room was. I would try staying here again after renovations."

"This is a great place to stay for exploring Death Valley. The kitchen is a full kitchen and well stocked for cooking in. We flew into Las Vegas so we loaded up there at wal mart and Albertsons, and having the full kitchen allowed us to make our meals. The mountain view is amazing and the outdoor seating gave us great opportunity to enjoy the view. There was a jack rabbit nibbling daily and a hummingbird nesting that was fun to watch. It’s spacious and exceeded our expectations. "

"Marcus & Misty are wonderful hosts. During my first night at the property, I notified them that one of the bed railings was loose & that the cabinet in the bathroom should have a head stopper. When I returned to the property the second night, these issues had all been addressed. So kudos to the hosts for outstanding customer service & support. "

"Our stay was fantastic. The place was clean. We had everything we needed for a great trip to Death Valley. I have to say something about the awesome shower pressure was. Plus, we got a free breakfast. Sunny is a great host. I’m looking forward to a return visit. If you are planning a trip to Death Valley, this is an excellent option."
