The state of the hotel is pretty good and we were happy with the cleanliness of our room. Location is convenient too - just a short walk to shops and eateries in town. Staff that we encountered at reception and restaurant were friendly and helpful.

Our harbour view 2 bed apartment was first class. Clean, nicely furnished, great amenities and a fantastic bed. Add the view and friendly and helpful staff and we couldn’t have asked for more.

Positives: Pleasant staff at check in. Room was clean. Glad to have breakfast included. Convenient location. Negatives: Aircon wasn't very cold. Limited to 21C and the room was not able to cool down compared to other hotels and motels ive stayed at in darwin. Positive and negative: Was told i had ordered a la carte breakfast incorrectly and was going to be charged but the receptionist didnt after i had told them i only ate what was part of the included breakfast. Probably need to ask for proof of room and surname for the a la carte orders as someone probably got away without paying their food.

Checked in and went to the room which was dirty , smelled musty, air con not working properly, corridors old and unclean abd opposite having a loud party. Reception told us no room service although advertised after 9pm and the oak restaurant said the same. Checked straight out and booked a hotel

Enjoyed my stay, had an apartment with a balcony saw the most wonderful storm hit Darwin. The bed was very comfortable, with a tv in the bedroom which I enjoyed.

Fantastic view, modem clean room, continental breakfast had a few extras over all a great place to stay. If any improvements I would suggest the pool area could be more inviting, maybe a shade sail and some plants to make it welcoming

Clean and comfortable hotel. The continental breakfast buffet not limited unlike some other hotels. Convenient location to their CBD and shopping areas. Will definitely consider staying there again when I go back to Darwin.

The 2 bedroom apartment each with its own king bed and bathroom, great kitchen dining lounge and washing machine and dryer and balcony overlooking Darwin Harbour was just perfect for us we were 2 couples but also perfect for 4 x singles if sharing a room as they can make them single beds, also perfect for a family. Just brilliant, clean and spacious with a very good continental breakfast downstairs, lots of choices, and nice pool area. And of course excellent staff at reception, dining and around the place. We didnt need parking but they have lots of spaces. Fantastic location - Darwin is a great small city, easy walking or Ubers / taxis are cheap as everything is just short rides. Love this place.

Second time I've stayed (2019 & 2023). I was on level 21 this time and the room had a lot of general wear and tear, mould in the shower and the room had a musty/mouldy smell. Other reviews have mentioned the smell too. I enjoyed staying here in 2019 but I won't return to this accomm.

We chose the Oaks Darwin Elan as it was a pick-up point for the Ghan. We stayed in a 1-bedroom apartment with marvellous views. It was quite expensive but suited our needs. The restaurant's food was excellent.
