We used to live here, The Marina Inn was a great place to stay. It was always well kept.
Not this time. Our room was a basic room since we were just passing through.
When we checked in, we did not explore the room, although dated, it was clean.
The beds were awful old, uncomfortable, the pillows were flat. The sheets clean, towels clean.
In the Morning when we paid attention, the shower was unusable as a portion (hidden by the way the curtain was positioned) had a long hole where the tub itself had collapsed in and a 4-5 inch jagged gap was open and cracked. (Would have cut your feet easily).
The bath had a lg black spotted crack above the ceiling, clearly mold/rot.
The sink had a repair spot where it had previously had damage. Not done well.
The molding around the inside door jam was rotten at the bottom.
When you looked on the bath side wall of the room itself low down where a sewer drain cap was, it was all water damaged most painted on top of, but here repaired properly with new black spotted area below. (I have dated photos).
Bad paint job 2 diff colors.
For 4 dollars less than this price, off season, our stay at another Hotel the night before was updated, beautiful, great beds, pillows, clean and quiet, Amazing. And the other facility had a security guard, and did not make us pay $15 dollars to park our car at night, though in a city area.
Very saddened, this used to be a great place.
