"There wasn't much I didn't like, however I booked and paid for a ground floor room,however I was told that the ground floor rooms were already occupied and I ended up on the first floor. My opinion is that they broke their contract. So beware that they might do the same . The previous owners always gave me a ground floor room"

"Susan is very friendly. She greeted us warmly. We really liked the room, which was very cozy. Susan introduced us to nearby tourist attractions and routes and gave us many tips on saving money and budget-friendly travel options. We enjoyed the breakfast at the place very much. The breakfast was very abundant and fresh, prepared by the chef on the same day. Please confirm your check-in time, as the chef needs to wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for each guest, so they need to go...

"This was a last minute booking for me but very happy with everything. I received a courtesy call call to advise of the check in procedure. Was welcomed on arrival and everything I needed to know was explained very clearly. Lovely new bar(not currently open 7 days a week) with a great selection of Craft Beers"

"Cute guest house, few minutes walk to some great coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Would have loved to stay longer and explore and if I was to come back I'd book this place again. Great value for money, easy check in. "

"Easy to find and plenty of parking. Really helpful hosts providing lots of details on what to do and where to go, also very accommodating, even provided is with an HDMI cable so we could link our computer to the TV to watch netflix. Lovely home cooked flapjack in our room each day and more by reception to help ourselves. Rooms nicely furnished and spacious. Breakfasts are really great, we had a full english every day. Great location being almost equidistant between Bowness and Windermere town....
